FASNY provides information, education and training for the volunteer fire and emergency medical services throughout New York State. FASNY strives to recognize the true champions of these services through numerous awards programs.
They also recognize educators for their work in fire prevention education. Additionally, FASNY provides legislative representation that monitors and takes action on topics of importance to the services. As a member of FASNY, you are part of a group of dedicated volunteers, tens of thousands strong, covering all of New York State.

FirefighterCloseCalls.com covers issues involving injury and death to firefighters… often issues that are ignored, quickly forgotten or just not talked about. Originally started as an e-mail group amongst some close friends in the fire service, it is currently received by thousands of fire service members.
Hoags Corners Ambulance, since 1948, assures the hamlet of Hoags Corners and its neighboring communities of continued quality emergency medical service as put forth and experienced these past 50+ years.
RCARA brings together, for their mutual benefit, all emergency services providing pre-hospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Rensselaer County, and to provide for the general good and welfare of RCARA and each member organization. They act as a course sponsor for EMS training programs, promote communications between member organizations, the NYS Department of
Health, and the Regional Emergency Medical Organization, and to establish better understanding between this Association, the medical profession, and the county government. RCARA supports the Rensselaer County Mutual Aid Program, promotes improved communications between dispatch and field personnel and better public relations between RCARA, member organizations, the public,
and the media.
